Privacy
Landlord Pilot only organizes your own landlord records. We don't sell data, connect to your bank, or file anything with the CRA for you.
What we store
Account: your email, display name and a hashed password (PBKDF2, cannot be reversed). Workspace: the properties, leases, rent, expenses, repairs and receipt files you enter. Support: the email and message you send us.
Where it lives and who can see it
Data is kept in a SQL Server database hosted in Canada and separated by account; only you can see it on the site. The operators can technically access the database for maintenance and support. It is not end-to-end encrypted.
What not to enter
Don't enter SINs, bank card numbers, online banking logins or tenants' ID numbers. Use a tenant code or initials.
We send email confirmation, password reset and, if you keep them on, daily reminder emails through our own mail queue. You can turn reminders off in account settings.
Export and deletion
You can export a full JSON backup or clear all records at any time under Backup & import. Deleting your account in settings removes the account and all workspace records. Database backups are overwritten after their normal retention period.
Forum
Forum posts and replies are public but shown under an anonymous name that changes in every thread. We store your account with each post so moderators can act on reports. Deleting your account deletes your posts and replies.
Cookies
We only use cookies needed for sign-in and form security. Your theme choice is stored in your browser. No advertising trackers.
